On June 1st at 1513 the Volunteers from Bay District were alerted to the intersection of Chancellors Run Road and Belvoir Road for the reported MVA with Injuries involving numerous vehicles. Squad 3(Chief Johnson) along with Captain 3 responded within seconds and while en-route to the scene Sgt. Mark Warren advised the units that he was on the scene with numerous patients and advised that the units responding in would have to take the opposite lane due to traffic back up. Both units arrived at 1520 hours and Chief 3 established the "Chancellors Run Road Command" and advised fire communications that they had a total of four vehicles and numerous occupants. Engine 92(Chief 9B Jones) arrived at 1522 hours and the crews worked together stabilizing the vehicles, securing batteries and assisting with patient packaging. After all was said and done there were two patients transported to SMH with minor injuries and a total of nine signed refusals. All units operated on the scene for just under 30 minutes before returning to quarters. Chief 3 held the "Chancellors Run Road Command and Captain 3 held the Operations of the incident.
