On 5/20/2007 the Bay District Volunteers set out for some interior burn evolutions in a acquired house in Lexington Park. The crews assisted in the final preparations for the burn by throwing ladders to all four sides of the house and finished throwing pallets on the piles inside. Chief 3A (Smiley) assigned all the personnel to crews and once everyone was ready and accounted for then they started burning rooms. There was a total of 9 rooms with 2 being in the basement and each crew went inside at least once with some crews going in a couple of times.
