Fatal Accident Chancellors Run - Foxchase Dr : Shortly before midnight on Saturday February 10th, a serious accident occurred on Chancellors Run Road. A police investigation revealed David Joseph Kimball, age 25 of Chaptico, Maryland and William Clayton Flanary, age 27 of California, Maryland were traveling south on Chancellors Run Road in Great Mills at what a witness described as a high rate of speed. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, left the southbound side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned into the roadway.

The passenger, William Flanary, was ejected and lying in the road when emergency responders arrived on the scene. The driver, David Kimball was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be removed by Bay District Volunteer Fire Department.

235 accident 02-03-2007 : The serious accident, which closed Rt. 235 for several hours on Saturday, and sent multiple people to the hospital, involved six different vehicles.

The first vehicle, operated by Ernest Charles Mincey, struck a second vehicle, operated by Serena Ann Hahn, which was stopped at the stop light.

The second vehicle, after being struck, proceeded to drive onto the right curb and sidewalk, after striking the rear of vehicle number 4, operated by Arden Joseph Keck II. Hahn's vehicle came to rest on the sidewalk.

Vehicle #1 then struck another vehicle (number 3), which was operated by Dana Lynn Lomas, and was also stopped at the light. This caused vehicle number 3 to strike vehicle number 4 (Keck's vehicle, which was also hit by Hahn), which was in the intersection.

Vehicle #1 continued striking vehicle #5 (operated by Michael Lawrence Higley) in the intersection before it came to its final rest in the intersection, on its roof.

Vehicle #4, after being struck by two vehicles, subsequently struck vehicle #6 (operated by Frederic mohamud Felcon) in the intersection.

Alcohol is a believed to be a contributing factor on the part of Mincey, who was operating the initial at-fault vehicle. The result of the Toxicology report is pending.
