6/27/2008 Ignite the Night : Hundreds came to celebrate Ignite the Night at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown. The multi-church and multi-denominational event on June 27 offered Southern Maryland youth and families an atmosphere packed with positive messages via Christian music and special speakers, including Stephen Diggs, J. Weathers and Henry Briscoe. Willet, a Christian rock band from Westminster, performed a free concert. The group was formed by three brothers inspired with a passion for integrity and live shows. Willet has opened for Project 86, Stellar Kart, Newsboys and Casting Crowns. The band and will soon be opening for Switchfoot, Sanctus Real and Jars of Clay. Willet is currently touring nationally in order to share its message of hope with larger numbers of youth.
