A "Concerned Citizens Tea Party" rally took place on Sunday, March 22nd at 2:30 PM in Solomons, Maryland. The public event was open to all and was held at the Pavillion on the Solomons boardwalk. DC Area country artist John Luskey http://www.johnluskey.com was there performing and speakers included:

The Grill Sergeant was there selling BBQ and the only pork at this rally was on the grill. Participants were invited to express their opinions on the out-of-control spending of our governments in Washington and Annapolis, and the tea party concluded with a symbolic gesture of protest, tossing boxes of "tea" into the Patuxent River (the boxes were retrieved to maintain an environmentally friendly event).
